I applied for Plan Change from Home 900 UL to Home 500 on March 29, 2008. But I am yet to get the enhanced speed. The Order Status on my portal is still showing Home 900 UL.

Curently I am getting around 30 KBps (KiloBytes) download speed max. (I have tried different times). Is something wrong with my modem? Do I need to configure my modem for optimum performance??

try opendns 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222 in network/LAN/properties/TCP/IP properties.Default Gateway should be 192.168.1.1 and Ip 192.168.1. 3 if you have selected enable DHCP) range 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.20and mod mode to GDMT

@essbebeTried the settings as suggested. Still same speed. No improvements. Download speeds of 27 KB (average) using Opera and Firefox.
