Is it true that channels of INX group, NDTV network and UTV (Bindass) group are exclusive to Tata(Sky only ? Because these network will together launch more than 20 channels within next few months.... But each of the channel is coming on TS and not a single one on DishTV ?????????? :madness:

I dont think DishTV is lazy. Following channels r already launched & if they r not exclusive to TS, they could have added atleast one of them, but none is added :O:INX:* 9XM* 9X* NewsX & many more coming soonUTV:* Bindass* Bindass movies* & many more coming soonNDTV: * NDTV Good Times* Hindi GEC & many more coming soonEach of these is present on Tata Sky....:madness:

Dish TV's negotiations are taking too long these days... I remember the days when Tata Sky had 105 channels and Dish TV some 160+ channels... Today both the providers have almost the same number of channels!

i dont know whats going wrong with dish tv. I subscribed to Dish TV just for Goal TV and Zee Sports and TV5 Monde. But Goal TV 1 & 2 has been permanently removed. And now they dont add the new channels which are being launched. I'm still waiting for Football Active service to begin. :madness:

Well none of the channels are exclusive for TS. All channels will be added on Dish TV sooner.Only problem with NDTV Goodtimes is that channel is FTA at the moment but it will turn into Paid channel from March 2008. So Dish TV is in talk with them.INX channels will be add on first day if I am not wrong because we saw news aticle that suggested it.

@dishtv1I believe that your information is not completely accurate. At present, TS only has NDTV Good Times, Bindass and the two Neo channels. And all of them will move over (or have already moved) to some gold packages and subscribers have to pay more to access the same.As far as exclusivity goes, I think it is only UTV which has talked about it. Inx and NDTV are very much open to anything. Another thing, NDTV Metronation, which was launched more than a month back is not available on either platforms even after Prannoy Roy promised that it would be available on one soon.Anyway, the Inx channels question should be resolved by the third week of November. As for the rest, only time (and TRAI) will tell.

Will be resolved by third week of november? How? It is so close....

....In order to ensure an initial 42 per cent C&S penetration, the INX Media has entered into channel distribution arrangements with all major multi- system operators in top 20 cities and also distribution arrangement with direct-to-home operators Tata Sky and Dish TV, industry sources said...
INX plans Rs 70 cr advt blitz

This is already available somewhere on the forum, I think.

9x will launch on November 12th. So the operators have to make a decision soon enough. And what applies to 9x would also apply to its sister channels. That is why I said....
