ChatGPT will become the next Google. This was the one feature missing. Unless Google decides to pay OpenAI under the table and strike a deal with them, like they did with search engines on Apple devices for years.

google decided to fuck up search to make as much money as possible from it. they deserve everything that is coming for them. i see people on reddit who say that they haven't used google in more than a year. i see myself using gpt for questions about tv shows i am watching and other things. it is just better to get a direct answer for a query (which can and is sometimes wrong) than going through shitty blogs that make it incredibly hard to find the actual relevant information. as a website owner, i can see why this hurts publishers but a lot of blame lies with publishers as well. opening any popular website is just annoying these days.
