I cannot get myself to spend 15K on a 6 month old phone when a new one is expected to be out in 4 months.

Not ready to spend 24k on that pic which is available in India.

Considering the official American price is around 21K (including taxes)... Adding shipping costs would make it quite close to 24K. I am not sure it is advisable to save 1000-2000 rupees and lose warranty.

I heard great horror stories about google canceling the orders placed outside USA CC
migt go for 8GB model also.
would have a final talk n see, looking forward if any 1 wants to sell it is last option if he cannot afford more than 20k

Do not go for the 8GB model. You are likely to end up with 4-5GB of free space. And after a few months, you would start cribbing about how you cannot install any apps on it.

True. I have a 16gb phone with 32 gb external card and I can tell you I am just about ok with it. On my phone, bloody nandroid backup is 2.5gb. And a rom is anywhere between 500 MB to 1.5 gb. So if you are into flashing roms 8gb is going to be ouch!
