I am not sure why you think that USD 475 is a high price. Considering it is inclusive of all taxes. American prices are without taxes. So the USD 350 model would cost more like USD 380 I believe.
Plus, the US model is clearly subsidized by Google. It was never going to be sold at same prices outside the US market. N4 is still sold for USD 350 in USA. There has been no depreciation since the launch last year.
As I said earlier in this thread, N4 and S3 are comparable phones and they are priced on the same levels here in India which makes the pricing quite alright in my opinion.

Guys there, ive been thinking of buying the nexus 4, and i come to a conclusion that buying from flipkart would be much better than buying from the Playstore.
reasons:
1.Google is quite very strict with its rma policies, if you root your device and accidently something happens to it just like the red light sowing up and device not booting (check xda for more details or just watch this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTKpiiRdGv8, itll be very hard to get a replacement from google, by hard i mean a time consuming process.
2.Buying from flipkart is getting serviced from LG and not google, being a existing lg mobile customer i've got awesome experiences from lg, very quick and prompt service.
Question is why m i so worried about warranty, the video would explain it all, the issue in this video is experienced by quite a lot of users, google replaces phones with this defect but you have to wait for a week or may be 2.
So any one whose waiting for play to launch id suggest go with flipkart if you wish for.

It will sure as hell give tough competition to S3 once it hits the brick n mortar stores too

Good u wont regret thats my word LG is the best when it comes to service issues
What phone have you previously got serviced via LG? I need some reassurance. ;-)
