Cheapest way to run Android on TV?

Import a cheap Android box from AliExpress. I almost ordered one. Decent ones start at around Rs. 2000. But do not have Google Play support.
It is a cumbersome process..... I copied the apk to shield and installed it................
it requires mobile number email..... for authentication......
however I installed it as we install Whatsapp on tab. (without voice calling).
But still there are many issues.
first, it asks for license...... which I suppose is that they want to buy subscription.... which I would not buy until I am sure of its working....
secondly the oreintation of the app remains vertical and does not change to horizontal.
Besides in Shield all apps related to indian TV content are similarly not available on play store.
Netflix is working. (very good quality)
Vudu is not working.
Yupp TV is their with UK feed of Indian Content and subscription more than Indian Cablewallah.
Many apps with US content are their but I am not interested.
