just talked to the CC they told me the if you are Existing costumer you have to pay 5999 for the STB
it has 160GB HDD and can be easily updatable

6k for the STB is way too much, wait for 6 months, it will drop and they will charge the same for new or old subscribers ...

Tata Sky is useless...By mistake, I transfered more ammount into my account and they say that they cannot return the amount.Suppose if you transfer 10,000 to your tata sky account by mistake using your credit/debit card instead of someother amount. You have to be with tata sky till that amount is used.

that is a problem with most services in india. they do not have a working mechanism for making back payments.

are you sure 5999 is not inclusive of anything else but only stb?

By mistake, I transfered more ammount into my account and they say that they cannot return the amount.

Suppose if you transfer 10,000 to your tata sky account by mistake using your credit/debit card instead of someother amount. You have to be with tata sky till that amount is used.

One kind advise my friend ........always triple check when you do online transaction.......as i believe you have got this problem by mistake........i am happy that by mistake you have not transfered Rs. 1,00,000 from you credit card to TS:hysterical: then imagine what will be you situation.......you have to be with TS till your death.......

TS will treat him as a special customer if he had paid Rs. 1,00,000............:thumbsup:I magine if he had paid Rs. 100000 what would have happen to him............If i was in his position i will take annual mega pack of Rs. 5000 for 20 years with TS:dance:
