I gave a reply, attended the meeting. The committee agreed that there was no fault of mine and I need not have to pay anything but the decision was taken that I have to take the power from home itself and cant use the society power here after.

For the time being I have put back the box in the same place, after discussion with committee membere the decision wld be taken. Btw any idea how much power would this 8 port switch (TP-Link) consume in terms of cost if its on 24 hours a day?? I can pay the additional amount to the society if that is an option.
power consumption of a switch. Ha ha ha. Mate I think we all would have spent more power in working on this thread than that device will probably use in one month

In my case , society members are not allowing me to take wired internet. Issue is they want me to take it from the only one pipe line they provied from top to bottom. Taking connection from that pipe line is not feasible. For that I have to drill front facing wall also need to clip wire approx 15 ft inside flat on interior.
Current internet wire I took form outside, which directly came in my balcony the same path of wire I am following for new connection .But it is not allowed by society members.
Plz suggest on issue.

@asbj1980 I don't think that's your headache. Ask your ISP(Airtel in your case) to take permission from the society and get the wiring done through the duct provided and allowed by the society. Exterior wiring is usually not allowed.

Recently one of my relative moved to new flat. Their provision is made to route cable through duct inside home through electrical cabling. Check if that is possible @asbj1980
Exterior cabling is not allowed by most societies these days as it looks bad if many cables are hanging everywhere :)
