Yes, But compare to WIN TV, somewhat it is Ok. But it has less Quality than Makkal TV. Both Vijay and Mega has got the same Quality which is very less compare to the SUN NETWORK Channel, RAJ/Jaya. But i dont know you know about the earlier tranmission of RAJ when it is launched. As RAJ TV is from RAJ VIDEO VISION, the earlier days had very less Quality which is almost like an VHS. Poor Contrast, Blurness and MONO Audio. I guess it was almost around some years. As SUN TV and RAJ TV were the leading players it became popular in tamil circle. Then JJ TV started, But i remember JJ TV was giving an digital Quality that time itself. Then RAJ TV came with "Digital" soulution where the RAJ PLUS had been renamed as RAJ DIGITAL PLUS. I still remember RAJ TV tested the digital tranmission and then they also moved digital mode. So now RAJ TV is very clear equalent to SUN/JAYA. As the number of Channels were very limited in Cable NETWORK too in 90's, in my area two Channels are allotted in Cable Network. They had the Quality of DTH that time itself due to the high bandwidth on channels and less collision and good gain on signals. The Primary band (LOW BAND), had STAR PLUS and in other channel PRIME SPORTS (which was later changed as STAR SPORTS). As SUN TV tranmission was only 6 to 9 on the time of launch, cablewala use to give PRIME SPORTS on other channel when SUN TV tranmission is off. When RAJ TV launched, they introduced another channel frequency.
