The episode was sort of confusing, is the show getting renewed or not?

I'd say it can go either way. Given the bad state of NBC's comedy slate, I won't be surprised if it gets renewed for a 13 episode final season. I haven't watched the season finale yet.

No. The show was always on the bubble but always got renewed at the last minute.
So, no #sixseasonsandamovie. :sadface:

Another season is unlikely to happen now. But, there's a possibility of a TV movie to provide some closure on some VOD service like the ones you mentioned.

We at least still have more "Castle!" Oh and "Parks and Rec."
