some people are doing comedy by posting that to Ban SunDirect and consumer courtsthat is just because of removal of single channelvery funny people nobodies have the right to go to consumer courtjust look at the "terms and conditions" of sun direct they mentioned "channel lists and packages are subject to change without notice":yahoo::thumbsup::hysterical::O:rofl:

dont be foolish,
trai is coming up with a directive to be constant on channel, these people are cheating people, by siging a single side agreemnt, if you r favorite channel is removed ur voice will come out barking , it is not a matter of single channel, how can u get cheated, showing some thing and giving u some thing else, if u order iddly, and if ur served , uppamma will u be happy, u will bark at the waiter ... dont say that u love uppamma too, but, here if u love uppamma, also, u will start barking, it is common dear.
the sun direct is like showing the adv. of heaven and putting u into hell, they print multicolor brouchers and they give channel adv, and they even say 499 for 6 months adn they say installliation extra, what is the differencce they are making form other dth provider, nothing different, only the worst quality of sun dth is the difference,
my dear friends it is not a war, when it comes to ur , u will feel the pain, u have a soft corner towards a channel common or religious channel, if it is removed, u will cry out, bark out , shout out, dont say no, u cant say, i gave ample examples,
consumer court, u know the law is wide , u can go up, even after any stupid agreements, think positive

Anyways ,if a Malayalee(that includes Hindus too,heck shalom is not some charity organization nor god sellers like tirunalveli annachi-dhinakaran and co) buys sun direct and if he bought it explicitly for shalom ,why the heck should you justify it when they removed the channel!If sun tv is removed ,god knows what will be the effect in tamilnadu against sun direct!~

anyways past is past ,don't accept dth unless if you are a tamilian,telegu,Panjabi,Hindi,Marathi in India -these populations only gets their channels in most dth services,I wonder what others will do!.heck ,we Malayalees better off from dth.Only think is unlike our neighbours we can enjoy Hindi programs quiet a lot.that saves these dth operators selling their crap in our state.if BSNL IPTV comes with a regional balance in kerala,it will be the best option.

Shalom Tv may be non commercial. But sun direct is fully commercial. They should pay some amount as carriage fee, so that they will add that channel.
I agree. Was Shalom added for free in Dish tv? They would have opted for Dish tv may be bacause it has more customers than Sun Direct. The reply from Shalom which posted above excatly looks like a copy paste posted in this forum some time back. Removing a channel without the broadcaster knowing it, is simply not possible. Legal suits will follow if they do like that. I don't think any channel will simply leave this matter.

ok it is good to charge carriage fee for any channel , which yeilds revenue, and have many other sources of income, spl. speaking about news channels, they have many other sources of income apart from advertisments, they are ready to pay carriage fee for sun dth or any other services dth operators, but, how can a religious channel salom or any other religious channel can do it , how can they pay dth operator carriage charges for their surivaval, my dear friends this can happen , taht is removal of any of your favouite or religious channel from your dth, with out notice...
my friends were saying that the sun gave sbt and dish free, you are wrong friend ,they have charged 2000 per year and when u discontinue the service you have to retrn the sbt and dish, it is the properity of sun , what then u have paid for the channels recharge rs 2000, where as the other opertors are not doing this, and the other thing come to the quality of sun , the worst, when compared to others, as they give more malyalam channels we all are bearaing it, for lcd and plasma tv the quality of sun is very bad...
