I felt Reliance is not as bad as people are telling..atleast for northis.. But I just got confused..why have they included some news channel in diff packages and some in the basic packages..?

As am neither subscriber of Tata Sky nor big tv ..honestly am waiting for big tv not because i big fan of big tv or reliance adag or anil ambani .. but when ever reliance adag entered into any market they always bring the prices down and this is benificial to the customer .. the same we seens with reliance communication .. now we are getting free in coming call .. behind this major role of reliance is there as i feel they are the one who started the same ..any way better get back to our topic ..when i heard tata .. the first word keep in ma mind is quality .. they never compromise on the same and about reliance its quantity .. .. this is ma personal views no offence to others .. but reliance is always help to drag prices down and is hopeing there will be price war in DTH world ..I have seen the quality of the BIG tv and the same is quite well .. i can't compare the same with tata sky as not seen the same .. but it must be good ..will wait for few more days to go ahead with any of dth .. let them start the price war .. as this is benificial for customer only ..cheers ...

The channels list is not clear in Big TV you need dig into their website only from their package details you can collect the channel list........
As far as i am concerned i think the channels which are there in Big TV, TS has also got it only few tamil channels such as Raj TV, Isai aruvi which are present in Big TV are absent in TS. Zee Sports is also absent in big tv......... one more thing big TV is charging RS. 40 for ESPN - Star Sports, Rs. 40 for neo cricket and neo sports and Rs. 25 each Star Cricket and Ten Sports not only that if you choose these sports pack they lock you for 6 months period i believe...... Check this out

heh the bigtv website sucks. a lot of sections are incomplete or not working. dummy text is also visible in some sections.
channel list is placed in a crappy flash box which is very hard to navigate. i still find it hard to get a detailed channel list.
basically, reliance has wasted effort trying to showcase a funky website when a simpler one would have done the job well.

STAR MOVIES, DISCOVERY, ANIMAL PLANET, NATIONAL GEO, NDTV GOOD TIMES, CHANNEL V, HISTORY CHANNEL, TRAVEL AND LIVING, Sony PIX, MAX, ZOOM, STAR WORLD, STAR ONE, + SUN Channels + etc etcAvailalbe in South Starter Pack in Big TV. But in Tata Sky only Sun Channels and FTA channels. Why Tata SKy cheating like this.
