Then the unit shud run and serve the purpose. You should call the Co ( D-Link ) person to come and show where the error is. They shall send a rep if they have one in your town.
Thanks guys for all the support.I found out that my device (?) is actually a router cum modem from D-Link Indian website. It seems all products which start with DSL are all combo (router and modem). So i am pretty sure that what i have is a modem. But the problem is i don't know the exact parameters to be configured for BSNL Dataone. I have checked up the product manual also. It gives a general way of configuration and states that certain parameters will be provided by ISP.I called up BSNL and taked about this. But those guys does'st seem to get my point at all. They keep on saying that my modem is faulty. But when i go the shop from i brought it, they are saying that it's working fine, but need to configure it with the correct parameters from ISP.I am really struck up. so it's kind of Deadlock situation for me now So guys if any one of you are using DSL 502T. pls pls for heaven sake share your configuration parameters with me.And sorry BSNL_CMD i came to know about you only later. If i did know abt you before i would'nt have asked whether you are a member in this forum
Guys thank you for your help. I finally found out what was the problem. DSL 502T is actually a router with in-built dialer and you just need to switch it on and no need to dial from your computer as you would do for a modem.I found it by accident. Mean time I had posted my Router for sale in eBay and even took the application form from BSNL to get a new modem from them. Luckly i found the solution before any one could actually place a bid for my router in eBay
hi,I am having the same error 678 with the same modem so can you please tell me the actual solution on this.It will be better if you tell me the configuration for bsnl broadband using D-Link - DSL 502T
Para two : You are asking someone who posted in this thread almost THREE years back !
