Configuring Netgear ADSL2+ DG834 Router Modem with BSNL Broadband

Hi,I am having a Netgear ADSL2+ DG834 Wireless Router Modem and BSNL 256kbps unlimited plan. The technician had configured a normal modem earlier when he came for the installation. I want to setup my Router-Modem so that I can access the net thru Wi-Fi.I am currently having-Username and PasswordIP and DNS settings configured by the technician on my ethenet card.Also is it possible that i can save the username-password in my router only and access it?

How do you connect ?

or you have to
enter Name and Password in a dialer ?
