connect bsnl using netgear

Hi,I am using the same Netgear with BSNL broadband.this is not connectng to the braodband. have tred the setting shown here. but no luckcan you help please.-kamaraj

I was using this ADSL router(DG834G) in UK. I am trying to configure this for BSNL now.

I am connecting it directly to the line( not thru BSNL modem)

I have changd few setting as mentioned in the posts in this thread.

PPPoA --> PPPoE

multiplexing method to LLC Based

VPI/VCI is 0/35

DSL mode : ADSL 2+

please couold you tell me these are correct. if yes, is there anything I ned to change?

presuming you are able to access 192.168.0.1 .. what does it say under the status page?

Try the LAN mode first.
If you had selected PPPoE "Always on" connection
enter User ID without @ bsnl.in
