Constant Attacks in Bridge Mode

I was under the impression that MTNL network is secure. Since I have switched to bridge mode comodo firewall constantly reports of various differents ip's trying to access different ports on my pc's however it manages to block them..what about those it can'tSince bridge mode bypasses the router firewall..this leaves all ports open for attack.Any body experiencing the same..on bridge mode

first, attacks wud be there even in PPPoE mode its just that it wont reach ur PC as router wud block it by default.attacks wud be there on any ISP not just MTNL, ie. for all ISPs providing public IP.if u have firewall running on windows then make sure all incoming/inbound ports are closed (except those u want to open say for torrents)

I have configured Stealth mode in comodo firewall to block all incoming traffic (except for those i have selected) hope that does the job.Thanks for the info amish
