Ok i got the stats page. It was in the DSL param option. bit.ly/1dHDMZg

This PPP error occurs mostly whenever there is an issue at the local exchange. Facing this same issue a couple of times from previous month. The DSL link in the modem always stay stable but there will be no data connection and the same error is shown in modem diagnostics PPP server down. Can't do much about it.

Line stats are good enough. Probably exchange management is poor. You'll have to speak to some senior official to fix this for good.

Since you're Bangalore area then yes, it is an issue on BSNL side, I was having similar problems all of last week. Currently have 2 ULD 2250 4 Mbps/175GB connections and they both went offline randomly last week but working fine now. Just have to keep pestering the local nodal officer otherwise nothing gets done.
