I have 2 BB connections on D-Link GLB-502T modem.2 days back at night the adapters of both the modems got damaged due to power surge.I have a adapter of local make which works with this modem but some times it stops working.Original D-link adapter is not available in the market at the moment.Can someone please suggest me a proper adapter.

The adapter is for 9V AC 1 Amp. ( same for AX MT 882 Huawei modem)
Any stepdown AC transformer 220V/primary AC/ Secondary 9V AC
rated for 1 AMP will do.
( Approx cost Rs 150 to Rs 250/= ( MRP marked may be even higher !)
All regulation done inside the GLB502T unit.
Confirm ratings with "dud" unit.
Direct DC adapters should be rated for 9V 1 amp
( cordless phone adapters will not be suitable )

I have solved the voltage fluctuation problem with D-Link GLB 502T using a switch mode power adapter instead of dlink supplied adapter.It cost me Rs.250/-Earlier internet connection used to get disconnected when there is minor change in voltage.Dlink adapter cannot handle this. Using ups does not also help.But my new made in India adapter can handle voltage change.So no more disconnection.My adapter is

Although dlink requires 9V input,I have set adapter to 12V as 9V is not working.You can use SMPS adapter with 9V output if you can find.I am satisfied now.Here is some screen shot of my adapter-

Got my adapter repaired from a local repairs man.
Ask him to check DC ( off load ) if more than 12VDC add an
IC Voltage regulator 7809 or 7909 depending on polarity.
( cost less than Rs 10) Max rating 1 amp.
