Damnit! Transvestites!

I hate these people man. Everytime i go by a auto rik, and i stop at the signal, these people come asking for money. If i am sitting with a girl finished. I get bloody harassed till i pay up. Today that thing said it'll spit on me if i don't pay up. and Rs. 10, they don't accept! what the hell is this? I cant accept them living honorable lives, but is there no law against all this? This is bloody social harassment!

heh. i hated when they just landed at my place at my marriage. same thing happened at my brother's marriage. and they wont leave without a significant amount of money which can range from 21000-51000 bucks. much more if your house gives them the idea that you are very rich.

i hear they have agents working in every darn locality who keeps a check on every marriage or child birth or ANY other festive occasion.

my brother is going to have his first child later this month or early next. i bet i am going to see a similar drama then.

they are as close to legalized extortion as it can get. especially for us hindus.

i guess earlier people used to give them money by choice to get good wishes and prayers.

now, its a business. the leader of the 'group' in my society travels around in a maruti zen (thats what i saw her in one day). i bet they have a fleet of swanky cars which are not used for 'business' purposes.

There is something despicably remarkable about how bloody organized they are. At one of our functions they came with a policeman on a bike as an escort to verify that this was their area!!!! :ishock:

Not all are bad. There was one on my regular route. He/She NEVER forced anyone to pay. Never touched. I never gave money but even then he/she wud always pass by smiling and saying, "hi, how are u?".Then oneday on Diwali I gave 5Rs. He/she was very happy.But after year or 2. My route changed.

This is a bloody menace. Disgusting to note the police are mixed up with them(not that the police in this country are not mixed with other forms of organized crime.)Technically what these eunuchs do amounts to mental harassment and molestation. I have a suspicion many of them are men dressed as wimmen.:madness:
