@v1rus can I share through team viewer(Haven't used it for more than couple of years) ?

to be honest,although I use team viewer on and off but I have not used team viewer for that purpose but in any case I think sharing 40GB takes some time and team veiewer is an intrusive way of sharing while other methods are more of background access thing.

Can you not easily verify the team viewer access with your friend in couple of minutes?

On the other hand every other option, other than online folder share (online folder share he can download which file he choose but problem is you have to upload entire 40GB folder) you have to keep ON your device with your connection active and may be you have to seat in front of your device when he downloading.

I am not sure how your friend will download without seeing the photos?

To see any photo your friend will have to download it anyway.

Or you need to first create thumbnails of each photo.

You can setup FTP server on your machine and also create thumbnails for each image.

Based on thumbnails he can download images he want.

@amish going to try team viewer this evening.I have seen a option of file transfer lets see if this works.I will also try method you described.

teamviewer would be very cumbersome. but would show the thumbnails like you see on your own computer.

I agree,I was not impressed with Teamviewer's first impression.
