DataOne frequent disconnection

I have WA3002G4 WiFi modem. My laptop works fine thru wireless but when I connect my desktop thru NIC/RJ45, DataOne gets disconncted every few minutes. However, when I connect my laptop using RJ45, the connection is stable with everything else being same. I tried this with two different laptops and the connection is stable with RJ45. My conclusions are that there is nothing wrong with the internet or the modem. Ethernet cable is fine too. I don't think my desktop has virus. Could the problem be with the NIC? I got a new NIC only the other day, the one I suspect has a problem. The installation was done by the vendor. I have re-installed the driver a few times.Any idea what must be happening?ThanksAN

Problem might be with your NIC card driver, Just try to install the correct one
