DD Channels Sound Quality is miserable

I hav been using Sun Direct Since 3 months. From then i am noticing a problem in sound quality of Dooradarshan channels. I seems to hav extreme Bass...., its really uncomfortable to hear. Do any one have the same problem????

You cannot expect good clarity in DD channels

DD channels are comparable to most of the private channels, in Tata Sky.

It has been of that video and audio quality since i was born, and lets not expect any miracle from DD channels... say another 20 years.

I agree with tech_enthu as i also use TS and the DD channels picture quality and audio are very good in TS........

The picture and audio quality is good for DD channels also in Sun direct and depends on the quality of the content and varies drastically from one programe to another.Right now HBO is showing a movie The Hitcher and the video quality is just average....so program quality varies in all channels weather it is DD or private.Be it TS or Dish or Sun Direct...it is the same Indians managing it and all have imported electronics...I feel all are equal and so no one need any cup or shield for excellence.

We were just refering to Mr. Maddy1983 comment as he said that you cannot expect clarity in DD Channel for that Mr. tech_enthu replied and i have gone with him too............

ya, the quality of DD channels r having problems in Sun DTH only. But just cant support with maddy 1983's comment. As these channels r having high quality while transmission is through terrestrial or through DD D+.:ashamed:

Try to zero the volume in the STB and see whether the picture still distorts. Do the same in the tv. If no distortion then check your tv.
