hey its working now. hooked up the new D-Link adsl modem router, entered the settings.did a 30/30/30 reboot on the Asus router. hooked it up to the setup and i didnt have to do a thing on the router, it came to lifeit works!so relieved now.thanks to all for looking. specially @cyberwiz. thanks for the input mate. much appreciated

gone thru the post. i want to use Asus-rt-n13u- b1 with bsnl broad band, following are my queries:assume that i flash the router with dd-wrt1) when PC offline mode, when the power goes off and comes again, does the torrent downloading in the router restarts or it will stop downloading?2) can somebody post step by step procedure for configuring the router with modem. btw my os win xp.3) can i access the router from out of my home and can i add new torrents / view the status of the torrents.thanks in advance.happy torrenting...
