I'm planning to buy samsung watch 4 classic during the Amazon Republic Day sale and can also see samsung care+ as an option.

I'm a fairly clumsy person, tht is why the samsung care+ thingy caught my eye, if anyone has specific feedback, please share

Do you think it's worth to invest?

Been using watch 5 for over a year now, daily with no Samsung care.

It is pretty durable as I have been smashed into walls plenty of time, with the display straight on to it.

Although, I am guessing it is due to Sapphire glass on watch 5.

My Watch Active 2 which has Gorilla Glass had rubbed against walls and other objects by mistake. But there are no scratches at all on Glass.
I am not sure if Samsung Care is really needed for Watch. Still check T&C if it covers water damage or similar issues before opting for it.
I avoid wearing my Watch in rains even though its mentioned as water-proof :D

all problems start after 1 year unless you are really careless with usage. so i think not worth. Let me give u a personal example ... My Galaxy s20+ purchased on pre order in March 2020 developed the green line issue last month. Though samsung is aware of the issue affecting s20 lineup they had this so called "POLICY" to offer one time screen replacement for devices only less than 3 years old. After technical evaluation at Samsung authorized service center where they confirmed device is in perfect condition (no physical / liquid damage) i escalated the matter to service head .. I got an email / call stating so called "POLICY" .. i wasn't satisfied , escalated the matter to ceo office via the option on their website and immediately logged a complaint on the National Consumer helpline app and finally they fell in line , accepted the issue and agreed to replace the screen Free of charge .
Long story short , the phone was repaired last week but they still haven't delivered it to me . 1st the drama to accept the issue. next multiple approvals before they could take the phone for repair . post that approval needed for part ordering . Now after repairs they again need authorization for the billing (i am required to pay only a nominal service charge and this has been pending for 3-4 days now ... I am pretty sure even if you purchase this care+ pack they will do similar drama if you have to submit for repairs. So think and buy the care+ pack :)
