Why doesn't she just take a direct flight to Mumbai.Taking Air India from Doha connecting to Mumbai is super easy. All formalities will be carried out in Mumbai
I have already mentioned that it is what she normally does. This time it is not viable and I did not elaborate on it before but here's why. She is flying in to Doha from Manila that night and by the time she reaches Doha, she would have missed all the direct flight options to Mumbai by Qatar Airways, Jet or Air India (not daily flt). She would have to wait for the next day and she can't afford to do that as she is registered for a seminar in Mumbai the next evening. Since she has only 4 days of gap before joining duty, she can't afford to lose out a full day by waiting for the next days flts.
 
Delhi is a very confusing city....

Only if you use Jaipur City Map to travel here :P

I have very little interaction with ppl of my age. Most of it is with people half my age both at work as well as in my social work/life. So I have no choice. Fit in or ship out. :D
Interaction with my daughters growing up helped as well but with them having both moved out of the country all during the course of the second half of 2010, the struggle might just be starting.
 
Fair Enough, Might I suggest a different route from Manilla, or perhaps a non Indian airline that connects in some other country? If you could provide me flight timings and options, I could definitely help you figure out a convenient itinerary

Thank you for your help but I guess you have not understood the situation yet. She is flying to Manila today as cabin crew and has to fly back to Doha reaching there on 23rd night. So her travel to India will originate in Doha late 23rd or early 24th. There are many other options like via Bahrain, Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, etc but she chose this because it would get her to Mumbai the earliest.

Anyway I must add that I got some really helpful replies on this thread. Special mention agantuk.
I have her listed on Jet Airways flt already and have applied by email to have her listed on Kingfisher as well.
