thats true. a year after demonistisation mean low liquid cash and people being spooky of IT dept knocking on large transactions so real estate was quiet. however the prices didnt go down at all. merely the transactions got delayed.

the transaction in my particular account was to be supposed to be done one month before demon but it was delayed and modiji dropped his atom bomb. so its two year delayed in my case. however the land prices didnt drop. the transactions just got delayed.

Yup. That's why I mentioned distress sale. People who had to sell property because of urgent funds requirement got royally fucked. I am also selling a small property in coming weeks. Got delayed by demo. And valuation did not appreciate as anticipated because of the entire slowdown.

In all these years, whatever little I have seen in real estate of Hyderabad, the prices almost never come down. They stagnate at best.
