Detecting ADSL Status in Sterlite SAM300AX modem

Excitel 4Mbps Unlimited, MTNL 2Mbps Unlimited.
Can some one tell me about the state of this modem when
1. ADSL is stable
2. Which LED will show the non avaliablity of ADSL

in short the significance of Link and ACt led's in pic shown above

For ADSL stable1)Link LED should always be solid 2)ACT LED should be blank or [flickering (if using the network)]3)LAN1 or LAN4 port should be solid/flickering.Non availability is shown mostly by blinking of Link(line) LED . (if line/phone line is busy or some line problem like attenuation)see the modem manual in CD or hard copy of it for more info.
