Hi,i have bsnl adsl 1 mbps connection at office which i would like to use from home through a dial-up server. Could someone suggest me a adsl modem which is not very expansive and can be used for BSNL which has a Dial-in server feature. I am currently using Huawei mt880, this modem has VPN, pptp etc. But i don't see any possibility to use this as a internet sharer from outside the office.or is there any other way to setup dial-in server. I am using mac OS X, and there is no dial-in server software available for mac, like in windows NT. I do know there are limitation and the sharing speed with entirely depend on the modems used at both ends which will probably limit it to 56kbps. If anyone has any alternatives please post.thanks, regards,Mervyn

There is this article that talks about setting up dial in on mac.

Yaa it is a bit invovled.Thing is, basic "server" for dial-in is pppd. Since OS X is just another unix (Like Linux or Solaris) it has this program by default. Maybe Apple did not consider it important enough to build a GUI for that. But being a Unix, most of Linux knowledge can be applied directly to OS X.
