difference between speeds

i have home 500 c plan want to change it to home 500 as download limited is more in that i am confused between unlimited plan it say its speed is 256 kbps but limited plans hav speed bet 256 n 2 mbps and are relly bery fast so wats the speed with unlimited plan dont it crosses much like limited plans???

Ideally in UL, u should be getting 256kbps downstream. But some of the newer subscribers are reporting that they are enjoying 256kbps to 2mbps on UL connections...

unlimited plans are capped.where as in limited usage plans are based on this mantra "the more the speed the more chances of the customer downloading....more usage...bigger the bill."

@karango for 500C+ .Same 2.5 GB data transfer limit like H500. Rs. 100/- more (i.e. Rs. 600/- /month) and 125 free calls less (i.e. only 50).

acc i hav WLL of bsnl i only needed for BB not Calls so opting 4 it ....so u suggest limited plan not unlimited ..ok

one more thing how u handle that night unlimited thing i use pppoe mode coz i connect to 2 PC tried every option of telnet for that but modem is not rebooting
