"Netbanking is already an established mode of transaction, and many people are using it.We want to encourage people to use mobile e-wallets like
Paytm. This is why we have decided not to include transactions through netbanking in the scheme. All that one needs to do is to log in to the website — cashlessharyana.nic.in — that has been created and provide details of the transaction. Those uploading details of their digital transactions will also be rewarded through a lucky draw, which will be held on December 24 in Chandigarh," he said.
Asked how the government would identify if a person, who made an online transaction, was from Haryana or not, Niwas said he was not aware of the nitty-gritties. "I'm not aware of the nitty-gritties. You should talk to the department concerned, which has created this website," he said.
