This extension rejects WebAuthn requests and can be configured to block passkey login, creation, or both. Passkey entries in autofill will be blocked as well.

This does appear to work.

Why disable passkey tho?

i am ok using them on non-important sites where i am not forced to use them. microsoft like companies practically force you to set it up. and if you do not know what you are doing, you could potentially lock yourself out of your account permanently. i am guessing a person using a mix of android, windows and Apple ecosystem is going to have a huge mess on his hands unless he uses the same browser or use a third party password manager?

i login with password on Amazon just fine. microsoft on the other hand would push two screens while i try to login to outlook. this addon basically fixes that for now lol. maybe they would let me login with password and 2fa as well if i setup a passkey but i am going to avoid as long as possible to not setup passkeys on any more services.
