Hi, i wasnt too happy with the wireless range and speed of the Beetel 450TC1 and hence am planning to add a N series wireless router (D-Link DIR-655). Is there any way to disable the wireless features of the Beetel 450 TC1 and use it only as modem. Further, is it possible to give a static IP to the Dlink router and let the DHCP be from Dlink instead of Beetel

Yes, I'm sure it's possible to do so. You can configure all that stuff via router's login page (usually http://192.168.1.1)
Call Beetel's and D-Link's technical helpline and they'll help you. Just follow their instructions. Technical supports helpline nos. are usually printed on the product box.
