Dish TV acting weird

Today for a few hours i wasnt able to change the channels on dish tv nor was i able to use the Active service. Whenever i tried to it just gave a OK and EXIT option on the screen.I could only change the channels using EPG.If you people had this problem, then please let me know that how did you solve it.

Dear Armaan, at what time you were facing this problem....as yesterday for full day i am watching tv but i haven't face that kind of problem.

this happened in the afternoon from 1pm till 3pm... i was really pissed off

I have not faced any problem yesterday on the time that you have mentioned it was clear and perfect.....no problem

now the remote control doesnt work well. particularly the SWAP CHANNEL button and sometimes the channel and volume buttons
