DIY: Heating Solution

I am facing the Heating issue a lot and during noon time the temperature of the optical module raises to 80 and because of this my download speed gets reduced from 50mbps to just 10mbps, upload speed is not affected by this.

Take a look at the temperature of the optical module

So I added a small cooling fan near the vents of the modem and after turning the fan on and within 5 min temperature is now constant at 55

So are you guys facing this issue too or there is something wrong with my modem?

@varkey in my citi currently temperature reaches 41-42 during noon and the room in which I kept my modem nobody uses it , so there is no direct cooling like fan, ac etc and the worst part is that the room tends to get really hot during noon, so had to do this.
 
I am toh still trying to get to thermal paste and graphic card can't switch pc on only..

yup, This lockdown has ruined everything, I ordered all the parts to build a kickass gaming PC but all orders got cancelled, Man i would have been enjoying this lockdown playing games but it all got ruined.
