DNS to help in BSNL 3G Speed issue

Does anyone have any idea as to which all DNS' can we use to help in the current BSNL 3G speed issue. I have tried Google DNS and OpenDNS but its not helping here in Tuticorin (TN)Please Help by leaving a post!Thanks

Have you tried BSNL's DNS? It will greatly improve the response for sites like Youtube, as detailed in this thread.

I could change the DNS setting in Dataone(wired) connection. But I wonder if we can change the DNS Setting for BSNL 3G USB Datacard???? Is it possible? can someone tell the procedure.

option to change DNS is there in mobile partner and also if u use windows dial up.... but whether it works or not cant say......... technically it shud....

Go in to control panel > network connections. There is probably a dial-up connection which has been made for your BSNL 3G data card. You should be able to change the DNS settings there - but chances are, if you haven't customized the DNS settings for that particular connection, they will already default to BSNL's servers and changing them will have little effect, if not adversely affecting your access to certain sites.

i am aslo using bsnl 3g datacard and we all know bsnl is providing awesome download speed but its browsing speed is just
crap. So i changed the BSNL DNS by using software "DNS jumper".this software will help you or provide you the best public DNS server with lower ping for example google providing DNS server 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Now my browsing speed is much better than the previous one.
just try yourself
follow these steps
1. check you ping in cmd by typing command "ping -bsnl dns press enter
2.change the dns by software or you can directly change dns by changing the network settings
3. now check ping again in cmd with your new dns servers which will be better than the first one

The only problem with doing this is that it's utter rubbish for anyone trying to access sites which utilize CDNs, one of the more popular of which is youtube which, if using public dns, can be negatively impacted quite severely.

got it thanx but still i have question i am getting download speed around 350kbps but browsing speed is just too bad. How can i improve my browsing speed . i am using google chrome and opera.
