To be honest it seriously worked one more thing if you are having a pc/laptop with GE then try connecting it to the wan port and check but sadly while i tried this my link Speed dropped to 10mbps and again couple of plugs and unplugs and reboots helped to get 1gbps link Speed

So I'm returning my friend's router, AC1200. And I need to order a new router for myself. Please suggest if I should get C6 or some other. Usage is pretty minimal, desktop which uses LAN and 4-5 other devices on WiFi. 5 GHz is a must.

I'm on a 100 mbps connection.

The 5Ghz coverage is really bad on A6/C6 both. I guess Mercusys can do a better job . Some member has bought it

Aren't speeds limited to around 50 mbps on 2.4Ghz?

on shitty routers perhaps. i mean in theory even the basic routers have 300mbps speeds on 2.4ghz.
