MTNL Delhi Do Wi-fi routers or modems provided by MTNL allow port-forwarding for torrents etc.

I am planning to order a Wi-fi router for my Broadband connection provided by MTNL, Delhi. I already have an ordinary modem - T-KD 318-MI - provided by them which does not have Wi-fi. But I can download torrents using utorrent and use other p2p apps like emule, ares etc by enabling the port forwarding feature provided by this modem.

However, I want to know whether the Wi-fi modems provided by MTNL in Delhi, like Binatone, have the built-in port-forwarding facility so that I can continue using those p2p apps to download torrents etc. without any blocking on my PC and at the same time use the Wi-fi facility for my Phone etc.Please guide. Thank you!

My neighbor was provided with a Binatone DM 856W Wi-fi Modem. Is it good enough? Can I ask the MTNL Staff to install it at my place if it is good? Also does this particular Binatone model support Port-forwarding?

Or should I ask for a better modem/router? Please give make and Model number of the modems/router provided by Delhi MTNL, so that I can make a good choice if it is possible.

And lastly is their any MTNL Offer so that they do not charge me Rs 500 as Non-refundable Deposit even though I am already using their Non-Wifi modem and must have paid for Non-refundable deposit? I use MTNL in Delhi. Thanks.
 
I think you can ask them to replace your existing NON-wifi modem with Wifi modem by paying difference in non-refundable deposit

My friend had done this 2-3 yrs back (but in mumbai)

Normal modem deposit was 500Rs
Wifi modem deposit was 800Rs

They charged him 300Rs in bill and issued Wifi modem.
