Today is 4th day since i recharged with Rs. 250 on my tata docomo sim. I'm yet to avail the services!! Horrible experience so far of Tata Docomo. (I was the one who praised them earlier for their 3G speed/coverage at my home)Problems: 1. First of all they don't tell you to change the APN. I lost Rs. 112 from the main balance2. Second, one customer care person tells me to use TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET.HVC while the other insists on TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNETHVC (.. i.e. a difference of a dot before HVC)3. Thirdly, even after 3 complete days, i'm not able to connect at all. 4. CC Rep now saying that some earlier plan was active on my number so the new plan was not working.. WTF.. I said why didn't you deactivate it automatically? He then forwarded my complaint to their "technical department" and asked me to wait for 24 hours. (THe complaint number is: 1485259378)5. Even after waiting for 24 hours, it's still not working.. and now the customer care (chat) person asking me to wait for another 24 hours.Plain BS from Tata Docomo.
After looking 2 different APN, I was sure there is some catch in this offer.
They should have allowed this offer with same APN (tata.docomo.internet), but as they are asking to use different APN, means they "may" be putting some cap on speed on this another APN.
With this plan we can say that with recharge of 250, we are getting unlimited Internet for free (as 250 talktime is also also credited in account), but we cannot call it 3G for its full validity period
