I think that even if you move your family members to some postpaid plan you only need to pay the bill for some days per sim till the port completes. 3 days for same circle is the port rule I guess.

Yes I am planning to do the same, Airtel is charging a bomb nowadays for their "premium" services. This is why I hate this Airtel Jio duopoly, we as customers should have more options. It's high time Vi should launch their 5G services, they are more than 2 years behind now. BSNL is still struggling to launch 4G it seems.
I'm gonna stick to jio postpaid family plan 449. Costs 1060.82 incl taxes for 4 people.
You might miss data rollover though. Jio doesn't do that.

I have been facing a lot of call drops on my iPhone 12 with Airtel recently. This is very annoying especially when I am talking to someone important. I have to make a WhatsApp call most of the times so that the call doesn't get disconnected in between. I guess it's nature's indication to give up on Airtel and switch to Jio although I am not expecting Jio to perform any better. I would at least save some money.
If its that big of a problem then why not buy a jio prepaid sim for trial and port if you see the difference after trial? Honestly, I don't see a big difference in the performance after migration from pre to post.

@Kyle Crane Amitriptyline Hydrochloride? What was your dosage? 25 or 10 mg? Any side effects or sleepiness you felt? I hope you're okay and have stopped taking it now?

@unnecessary it was sertraline 50 mg and 5mg melatonin later increased to 10mg. there were a lot of side effects (unable to sleep, nightmares, heavy mood swings, apetite issues etc)
Im okay now not normal yet but just okay. the side effects lasted for 3-4 months after stopping meds
