I tried this command to check if the port 123 ntp server port is open in my network after giving access to this port in my firewall inbound and outbound rules.
please see the reult
M
C:\Windows\system32>netsh firewall show state

Firewall status:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Profile = Standard
Operational mode = Enable
Exception mode = Enable
Multicast/broadcast response mode = Enable
Notification mode = Enable
Group policy version = Windows Firewall
Remote admin mode = Disable

Ports currently open on all network interfaces:
Port Protocol Version Program
-------------------------------------------------------------------
123 UDP Any (null)

IMPORTANT: Command executed successfully.
However, "netsh firewall" is deprecated;
use "netsh advfirewall firewall" instead.
For more information on using "netsh advfirewall firewall" commands
instead of "netsh firewall", see KB article 947709
at Use netsh advfirewall firewall context - Windows Server .

C:\Windows\system32>
This clearly shows that the port is open in my network and bsnl does not block. A

This shows clealy that the port is open in my network and bsnl has not blocked this port atleast.
Anyhow, this does not solve my problem as sync tries are not success even now.

Hi, vilasrao,
I read your article already and there seems to be a big bug in this date and time sync from windows 7 to windows 11.
I use 0.asia.pool.ntp.org as my ntp server and could not sync.
I wrote to the msoft feed back.But I do not know if this catches their eyes. To day, when i tried, it said an error occurred and below , the last synchronized time is just the click time of update now. Is it not weird. error and correctly synced at the same time

This video just got published an hour ago lol

Vilasrao. I thing the researcher explain this in a video. But I could not get the correct audio) to listen to his stylish English pronunciation . can you give the essence of what he is saying in this time sync.

It's just a intro to NTP ... This is a nice yt channel to watch in general... Maybe try the yt captions, auto subtitles?

Bridge it, WAN it through a third-party router, and use manual DNS
also, some routers let you sync dynamically and then forward to future devices or let you create static NTP
BSNL DNS IS SO BAD,
