E-Mandate for recurring payments using debit & credit cards

@Samuel You might be having visa card saved in zomato and accidentally confirmed to use without otp.

its a zomato visa new feature

It appears that paypal is just not going to implement it at all. They are asking their users to figure out some other way to setup recurring transactions. regulatory changes-to-automatic-payments-made-with-indian-cards

I enabled it voluntarily. I like the feature.

Doesn't it violate 3D secure payment compliance in India?

Maybe I missed it but where exactly is this portal. Looking for an hdfc card. Since I have an bank account as well it won't just let me login to the credit card portal. Have to login into account and cannot find anything for mandates there.
Looking for the same for icici as well.

Log on to the portal provided in original post using your card details. If you have not created any mandates yet, then probably you won't see anything there or enter the portal at all.

EMIs like something you bought on Amazon with EMI option? That will work without any extra input. Because while you placed that order, your Credit limit is already blocked and they will just place the amount to your statement.

For HDFC, log onto your netbanking. Go to bill pay and recharge and open it. On the top right corner, there is the option of merchant standing instrucrion.
