Edge on iphonee 3g

Hii am using iphone3g, jailbroken (imported not official vodafone) on vodafone in delhithough i get the edge -"E" icon on my phone, but i still cant get to use the internet on the phone. wifi works fine though.btw its unlocked using yellowsn0w and not thru one of those turbo sim cards.please help

i have the standard edge connection, dont pay any rental just 10p per 10kb. no rental.i think they call it vodafone live in delhi

Normal Vodafone Live doesn't work on iPhone..You need to subscribe to Vodafone Mobile connect and change your APN to WWW if it is enabled in 'Settings-->General-->Network' or there is an alternate way if the option is disabled in your phone.You would have to shell out Rs 199 per month as rental and 5p/10KB as usage.
