Error 691 even when Userid & Pass is correct

first in this it looks like even though you can access 20mbps speed the speed set to your line is 4mbps only.

the maximum upload limit one can get is 1mbps so its ok.usually when download rate is reduced the upload rate is also reduced at the same time that istrange. i also noticed downstream snr rate is excellent but upstream rate is low. i assume you are staying close to your exchange as your attenuation rate is low.
once things get cleared ask for an increase in speed .
here is my status for now

^^^ Ya close I think around 1km or less. Earlier my download rate was set to 10Mbps but when I complained of frequent disconnection they reduced it. Also my SNR was less that time. Now once it starts working I will ask them to increase it atleast to 8Mbps which is good enough.

Also, most of them dont know what is line profile. So its tough getting the download rate changed. :LOL:
 
what u said is true most workers are not familiar with the technical terms. may be they changed the line that is how this change in rate came.or may be switched to another port. my one doubt is, usually snr for upstream is higher and downstream is lower (for me it is like that and noticed the same thing in some other statistics too) is that ok?
it is due to the disconnection issues they reduced your line rate, being close to exchange u can ask for more speed.

now did the problem with username and password still there or is it resolved?
 
Not yet sir.. Today is Sunday.. I hope they solve it tomorrow.. Most of the time even they dont knw what is the problem. LOL :LOL::ROFLMAO:
 
Finally, my Broadband started working today. They said to add @lfmt.in after my userid (From idxxxxxxxxxx to [email protected]). And it worked. :eek::eek:
Although no one informed regarding this change from BSNL in username due to which I suffered for a week. :sick:

And regarding upgrade in speed, they asked me to be happy in 4Mbps. lol.. in few months they will change some infra at exchange and then they will try to give more speed.
 
oh lfmt is a new thing. how is your net working now. some users were saying about ping issues in lfmt service
 
Actually I dont know much about ping. And i am not at my home right now.. Once I go back from office in the evening, I will see how it is..

Any problems with this lfmt thing??
 
i am not having that, but there were discussion regarding the new service. about ping being high and all. dont know corrrectly.hope someone who have used it give a correct reply.
 
@Shivam15 Is your BSNL broadband still working with @lfmt.in? I have recently changed my plan and they gave user id without lfmt.in, till date, I am facing Error 691. :(
 
^^ Ya mine is still working.. I didnt change my plan after that. Although these days I am getting only 1Mbps download speed from past 3 2 or 3 months.
