Ethernet tethering on Android Device

Latest smartphones have option to Tether with Ethernet. That lets you share mobile internet to other devices with the help of USB-C to USB to Gigabit LAN Adapter with USB-C Power Delivery

Assume in image here laptop is mobile. Once Ethernet tethering enabled on mobile user will be able to access internet over Ethernet on connected device

Anyone here have tried it? I want to buy that adapter but just want to know experience of people that have used something like this. Thanks

So I had one of these USB-C to ethernet adapter lying around and I tried testing this, and it works. The speeds are a bit lower than on the phone directly but it works.

@blueman24 That is awesome man. Just to confirm, you are connected to internet on phone and then you are trying to access internet on other device via Ethernet right?

1. Ethernet adapter connected to phone via USB C with Ethernet tethering enabled on phone.
2. Desktop/ router (both tested) connected to the adapter via Ethernet.
