Agreed. For me, there was nothing new. It desperately tried to look like Matrix. I am trying to make space to see lightyear but most people have even dubbed it a failure 
I did see Maamanithan (2022) - IMDb Maamanithan just yesterday. Very beautiful and moving picture. They somehow always renew my faith in southern cinema.
