Hmm..A good ISP to serve movie freaks like Mr.X !!!Seems we would start signing a mass petition to ExattNet for starting service in our areas!

Seriously..... Their Delhi office is located less than a km away from my house, and they don't offer it here!Funnily enough, when I called them the guy who picked up didn't even know they had something called "broadband" and when I explained that it was an internet connection, they had to refer me to their "marketing" guy's cell phone.....f***, If their speeds are actually good, and they are reliable, I would get an unlimited 512kbps connection for less than what I pay for Airtel's 128kbps!!! (And since I don't have much need for their landline, I wouldn't be too sad to lose it).

When are the guyz coming to hyderabad...Damn...THis ISP is making me over excited ... :P

hi webmetal...i stay 2km from their delhi office... no service here either. was given the same jazz about "please talk with mr. marketing tomorrow morning"... he (suresh) said they might/would expand into my area within 20-30 days, and to speak with him then. however, what was surprising was that he kept emphasizing a) a 48kbps connection, and only acknowledged 256/512kb on being prodded. additionally, the qualifier for these was, "we are a bombay based company... and what's listed on the website is more in tune with bombay" (sic)... so, given the (relative) crap dished out in delhi, getting *good* 256/512kb might remain a pipe dream. second, he kept mentioning cto charges ("rs. 100 or rs. 200") and was wishy-washy on them. hotwire, which i'm currently on, has been leeching rs. 50 the past few months, but 200 bucks as maintenance charges is highway robbery.were you told similar stuff too?

Well, I didn't prod him that much.... he gave me the same answer of "call in one month and check up if we can offer it then"... which sounded quite suspiciously like, "ummm... I don't 'exactly' know what's going on."To be truthful, I kinda assumed that they would offer the same plans... I believe my Aunt took a 128kbps unlimited connection from them when she lived in Delhi..... so I didn't have any reason to believe that they were going to shaft us on that..... oh well, like all good news related to broadband in India, this one went lukewarm quite fast too.......
