btw. fixed the wireless issue as well. the cable between erx and D-Link was slow. replaced it with an amazonbasics cat7 (lol) cable and wireless goes above 100mbps now. nowhere near 300mbps but it's fine.

not getting 100+ mbps upstairs. looks like the mi router i have is not gigabit. i don't remember the exact model number. it seems to be mi router mini something and google tells me that it is indeed not gigabit capable. so planning to order an a6 now to replace it.

All the OnUs which we are getting from Excitel are preconfigured

D-Link DIR-1960 - EXO AC1900 Mesh Enabled Smart Wi-Fi​

for 4k, is it comparable enough?

Archer A6 only has 16 MB flash whereas DIR-1960 has 128 MB, neither of them are supported by OpenWrt yet. Also Archer A6 costs almost half, DIR-1960 looks good on paper if only it were supported by OpenWrt.

love the form factor of a6. quite compact compared to c6.

the only problem now remains is the routers fighting with each other and resulting in phone sticking to far away router even if it is closer to another router resulting in shitty speeds lol.

also tried connecting the onu to the pc and tried accessing 192.168.10.1. it didn't work for me. not sure what i am doing wrong.
