Down again. I guess I would avoid dealing with LCO directly till the power crisis is going on. It does stay online for most of the day.

Do you LCO uses proper junction boxes?

@Life_Warrior they don't use junction boxes like airtel or jio. But they use simple rectangle black boxes for spliters and fiber splicing.

In my area LCO uses a transparent plastic tube instead of any boxes, even on poles and at my home too.

That’s called cost cutting. In India, there really aren’t any rules regarding how fiber optic cables must be laid.
