Excitel Broadband User Experience in Gurgaon

I have fiber with excitel. My connections seems rock solid. No loss whatsoever. LCO is Evdin Technologies.

packet loss problem is back. happens during noon time. right now for instance. internet is unusable at the moment.

And it's down. Local guy who knows things is out so probably no connectivity today.

I had no connectivity today from yesterday. But it started working at 5pm

it has been down pretty much through the day for the last three days. would get my airtel line fixed tomorrow so that i at least have backup. i think airtel is now offering 40mbps in my area. maybe i would finally upgrade to vfiber and get on one of the newer plans. this once in couple of months major downtime is a massive pain.

@Sushubh thats exactly what happened to me for 2 months straight.
internet would work here and there for a couple of hours but was mostly down.
LCO sent someone , they fix it and within a span of 6-8 hours internet went down again.
Got so tired complaining to the lco and excitel that i had to change the isp to airtel.
Its 24 mbps but its atleast something rather than nothing.

Whats weird is that the excitel connection worked very good for about 2 years and then suddenly turned to absolute crap/completely unusable.

yeah. my area has only one guy who is capable of doing anything. and whenever he goes to his HomeTown, entire network goes to shit. the guy was out earlier this week and he has been trying to fix the damage since his arrival yesterday morning. guy is apologetic on the phone. is probably very underpaid for what he does for the lco and is probably handling multiple areas in gurgaon for that lco.

i would gladly move back to airtel if they were not blocking every second website on the web. i am too used to not seeing blocked domain messages on the web with excitel. i do not want to end up using VPN every time i end up loading a torrent website.
