Excitel Broadband User Experience in Gurgaon

Got 1 timeout for 100 pings to google.com
Trying other websites. Otherwise ok for me right now.

Edit: 1%/<1% loss to 1.1.1.1 and twitter.com. One thing I noticed, slight ping spike in the reading just before the request timeout result. Then all normal after it.

I was getting loss around 11am, lasted about 30 minutes.

has been down for an hour. local guy says everything tiptop at his end. does not work even when i dial from windows. this is annoying.

@Sushubh may be something on pole due to humidity or water. Do tell how the person resolve ur problem

yeah the guy is coming in a while. thankfully the only reasonable guy lco has is available today. last time he had went to his village so had to suffer through multi-day downtime. lol. and when he came back, he told me to connect directly and that somehow worked. so that was pretty messed up.

also found out that excitel stores the password of my.excitel.com port unencrypted at their end. google autofill borked and did not fill in the password in the app. i tried a few times and it failed. and suddenly i get a sms from excitel with my actual password in clear text so that's cool.

times like these i find out how bad my airtel line is. there is constant packet loss which results in pages not loading properly.
